Terms of Service
The terms you accept by using this site. The work we do for clients is governed by its own agreement.
Who we are
RevHops is a trade name of James Ricks Consulting, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company based in Phoenix, Arizona. In these terms, "we", "us" and "RevHops" mean that company, and "you" means whoever is using this website.
Questions about anything on this page go to team@revhops.com.
What these terms cover
This page covers your use of revhops.com and everything attached to it: the blog, the resource library, the assessments and calculators, and the games.
It does not cover the work we do for clients. Consulting, implementation and support engagements are governed entirely by the statement of work or service agreement signed for that engagement. Nothing on this page changes those documents, and if the two ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.
Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
Using this website
You may read this site, use the tools on it, and download what we publish, for your own purposes, commercial or otherwise.
You may not do any of the following:
- Try to reach any part of the site, or any system behind it, that is not meant to be public.
- Interfere with how the site runs, or test its security without asking us first.
- Scrape or crawl it at a rate that degrades it for anyone else.
- Strip our attribution from something we published and present it as your own.
- Use what is here to build a competing library, directory or product.
What is here is information, not advice
The articles, guides, benchmarks, scorecards and calculators on this site are general information about revenue operations. They are not consulting advice, and they are not legal, tax or accounting advice.
A score or a number produced by a tool on this site is a starting point for a conversation, not a recommendation. What you do with it is your decision and your risk. If you want advice about your situation specifically, that is what an engagement is for.
What you send us
What happens to anything you type into a form here, including the newsletter and gated downloads, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through a web form. Wait until we have a signed agreement and a proper place to put it.
If you send us a suggestion or an idea without us asking for it, we are free to use it without owing you anything for it.
Intellectual property
The text, design, code, illustrations and marks on this site belong to us, except where something is credited otherwise. You may quote from what we publish, or link to it, with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, and you may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.
HubSpot, Pipedrive and other product names that appear here belong to their respective owners. Our partner badges mean we are a certified partner of those platforms. They do not mean those companies wrote, reviewed or endorsed anything on this site.
Links to other sites
We link out to things worth reading. We do not control what is on the other end of those links, we do not vouch for it, and we are not responsible for it.
Availability and warranties
This site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that everything on it is accurate or current, or that it is free of anything harmful. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, arising out of your use of this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for everything connected to this site is capped at one hundred US dollars.
This section is about the website. It does not limit anything we owe a client under a signed agreement, which carries its own liability terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The date at the top says when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
Arizona law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about this site belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Maricopa County, Arizona, and we both agree to that venue.
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
